About the Competition

This 26-11-2020, India celebrates the landmark 71 Years of its Constitution which was formally adopted on 26-11-1949. The Constitution, though young, has undergone a tremendous change over these seven decades. Starting with 395 Articles and 8 schedules, it stands now stands at over 450 Articles and 12 Schedules—a result of 104 amendments. The Indian Constitution is a marvelous document and its robustness and durability rest on its many built-in safeguards securing citizens’ rights to freedom and justice and fair play which no government, however powerful, can hope to effectively recast within the space of a single or even multiple tenures in office. Therefore on the occasion of 71st Constitution Day, the Constitutional Law Club, NUSRL has organised the national level blog writing competition to further the discussions on the glorious aspects of the Indian Constitution.

We extend our sincere gratitude towards all the participants for showing their keen interest and enthusiasm for participating in our 1st National-level Blog Writing Competition. We also thank you all for staying with us throughout the process patientlywhile we were examining the entries. We congratulate you all on your successful accomplishment!

Amongst the neck and neck competition, we take pride in affirming that we enjoyed reading all the submissions so much so that it became laborious to finally come up with the list of merit-holders. We are now finally declaring the results the competition. With an immense pleasure we are announcing the list of top 5 entries, which is attached below. The enlisted participants are required to fill-up the google form and submit the require documents for verification purpose.

Our heartiest congratulations to all the merit-holders! We wish you all the very best of luck for all your future endeavors!

Hope to see you all again sometime in near future, on the same platform, maybe in a different battle, with a different theme, to exhibit and explore the different dimensions of the supreme law of the land, our Constitution!
